On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: Hallo, heute 12.06.2018 fand ich beim Heuschober-Saubermachen in Hüttenfeld noch zig Schwarzkäfer und Larven unter den Paletten dort im Staub und Heuresten.
Das hier ist wohl eindeutig der Schwarzkäfer Blaps lethifera. Hatte auch Foto von Rückseite gemacht, mit der "Bürste".
Ist das die Larve von ihm auf dem 3.Foto? Sie war kleiner als die Mehlwürmerlarven, ca. 3cm lang.

Request: Hallo miteinander, dieses Tierchen hier halte ich für Silvanus unidentatus. Kann das bestätigt werden? Gefunden habe ich das Tier auf der Azoreninsel Sao Miguel. Am Furnassee. Von dort wurde die Art auch gemeldet. Request: Found in Romania between 27.05.13 and 31.05.13 Every beetles was found on sunny meadows. I will be thankful for any suggestions or possibilities (it helps me to learn about important details of species body). Found on abour 1900 meters above sea level, in Fagarasian Mountains.

Request: Carabidae? Dasistein "Sehichdichnicht - siehstdumichnicht". Ich habe ihn aufgedeckt und meinte, so markant, wie er ist, ihn ganz einfach mit eurer Datenbank abgleichen zu können. Grösse, schwarze Beinchen, schwarze Fühler, ovale, schön abgerundete Fld. punktiert + liniiert ... die Fld. Naht wirkt ein bisschen wulstig ... ABER: Ich krieg das irgendwie nicht hin :-( Kanton Solothurn, Kienberg ausserhalb der MTBs auf ca. 700 m üNN. Danke vielmals für eure Hilfe! LG Chris

VG Thomas ... ich nicht ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Es ist Pterostichus selmanni (ssp prevostii) - Flügeldeckenbasis ist ungerandet, das Tier mit fast 20 mm zu groß für P. multipunctatus und der hätte auf den Elytren lediglich im 3ten und 5ten Intervall Punktierung.
