On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: Dieser Käfer ist auf der Insel Vir sehr häufig. Flugzeit: 16.06.2018. Ich bin mir nicht sicher, ob das Trichodes apiatius ist, die Zeichnung ist anders.

Comment: Hallo Ritter, das ist ein Vertreter der Familie Cerambycidae, also ein Bockkäfer. Leider sehe ich nicht genug für eine Bestimmung zur Art. Wenn es eine einheimische Art ist, dann am ehesten Gattuzng Monochamus. Könnte aber auch etwas eingeschlepptes sein, falls in dem Raum z.B. Holzpaletten aus Übersee gelagert sind. LG, Christoph

Request: Am 21.06.2018 im Botanischen Garten Schellerhau auf einer Irisblüte fanden wir 12 dieser nur ca 5 mm langen Käfer auch auf den anderen Blüten hatten sich ähnlich viele versammelt.
