On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

oh weh, bei dem hier muss ich passen. Ich habe ihn am 24.06.18 im Gimbsheimer Sand aus einem trockenen Feldrand aus einer Mischung aus Disteln und Ampher geschüttelt. Ich hätte auf einen Perapion getippt...

Comment: Hallo Aalbeek, ich vermute einen Vertreter der Gattung Rhinoncus, eventuell R. bruchoides. Allerdings hätte er sich dann in der Wirtspflanze vertan. Wobei mir im Moment spontan kein Rüssler einfällt, der bei uns an Eupatorium lebt. LG, Christoph Hier wurde die Korrektur der Wirtspflanze nachgemeldet: Es handelte sich um Ampfer-Knöterich (Persicaria lapathifolia). Damit ist R. bruchoides jetzt wahrscheinlicher geworden. 100% festmachen wage ich allerdings nicht, daher mit cf. LG, Christoph

Comment: Hallo Brandy, hoppla, das ist der "Bleiche Alteichen-Nachtbock" Trichoferus pallidus. In D auf der RL1 und vom Aussterben bedroht. Er lebt an sehr alten und absterbenden Eichen und ist in Deutschland nur aus Baden, der Pfalz, Hessen und Bayern Nord gemeldet. Eigentlich nachtaktiv an alten Eichen, gern an solchen, an denen auch Cerambyx cerdo vorkommt. Ihn tags im Garten zu finden ist höchst ungewöhnlich. Danke für diese Meldung! LG, Christoph

Request: Hallo, liebes Käferteam, ein Longitarsus tabidus hätte ich vermutet. Größe ca. 3 mm, gefunden am 09.07.2018 in der Altstadt von Gernsbach. Königskerze gibt's nicht weit davon entfernt auf einem unbebauten Ruinengrundstück, aber er saß halt nicht dort sondern an der Hauswand. Vielen Dank und viele Grüße, Manfred
