Request: 15.07.2018 - Jetzt kommt die angekündigte Frage, zu der Euer Mitgefühl erbeten ist :-( Ich hätte nie gedacht, dass ich mal so einen gruseligen Fund machen würde, obwohl hier im Forum schon die Rede davon war! Der Körper dieses armen Käfers wurde offenbar verspeist, der Kopf jedoch zurückgelassen. Soweit ist das ja nun einmal der Lauf der Welt! Ganz offensichtlich hat meine Fotografiererei bei dem Tier aber noch Fluchtreflexe verursacht. Ich habe es dann erlöst. Die Vorstellung, dass es vielleicht noch stundenlang leiden müsste, fand ich unerträglich. Ich vermute hier einen Prionus coriarius und würde das als Lebendfund betrachten. Aargau, Waldweg Kaisten auf ca. 330 m üNN. Danke, dass Ihr dem Tier die letzte Ehre erweist! LG Chris

Nachdem ich mir mit der Vorbestimmung in der vorangegangenen Anfrage viel Mühe gegeben habe, wage ich mal, bei diesem, ebenfalls seidig wirkenden kleinen (7-8 mm) Ladenhüter, dieselbe Art zu vermuten (vielleicht gleich zweimal falsch). Die Tiere waren ebenfalls gesellig im Gebüsch anzutreffen. Die Fühlerspitzen kann man hier leider nicht so gut erkennen. Aargau, Waldwegrand Sulz auf ca. 370 m üNN.
