View answered requests for beetle ID

On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Also doch eine andere Art?

Also bestätige ich hier Frau Lucanus cervus. Danke auch an Deine Tochter :). Viele Grüße, Corinna

Hi Garret, unfortunately we can still get no further than the genus Galerucinae. Thanks for your effort nevertheless, but unluckily none of the possible species live on Hazel and so this specimen has just randomly sat down for a snooze on the hazel leaf. So still no luck with the host plant I'm afraid, and therefore no species determination :(. Best wishes, Corinna
