On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

dieses Kerlchen ist mir unter den vielen Silvanussen nur aufgefallen, weil er noch einen Tick kleiner war. 2-2,5mm. Erst am Kamerabild habe ich dann gesehen, dass es eine andere Art ist. Wer ist das? 27.09.18 Gimbsheimer Baggersee unter Pappelrinde. Lieben Dank

Unter Pferdedecke, wo der "aufgestiegen" ist ist nicht nachvollziehbar: könnte im Grünland am Stall oder im Wald gewesen sein.

Comment: Hallo Heja, das ist Hippodamia notata. Der Halsschildvorderrand zeigt das typische Zackenmuster, dann der über beide Flügeldecken gehende Kleeblatt-förmige Punkt und es wird notata. ich hab' mich am 27.09.18 total gefreut, diese Leistus ferrugineus einmal in action zu sehen und nicht nur im Winter in Totholz. Einige von ihnen waren am Ufer einer der Gimbsheimer Baggerseen unter einer gefällten Pappel zwischen Lehmbrocken unterwegs. 6,5-7mm. Danke schön
