On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Comment: Hallo Ingo, wie du vollkommen richtig erkannt hast ist dies Amara fulva. Das gibt mir Hoffnung, dass wir Menschen noch nicht ganz so schnell ersetzt werden können. Immer wenn ich die im Mainzer Sand sehe, denke ich juhu Harpalus flavescens und immer war es dann wieder Amara fulva (auch kein schlechter Fund, aber nach so 100 könnte es dann doch mal der Harpalus sein oder?). Comment: Hallo mmk, die Proportionen sprechen eher für Curculio elephas. Allerdings sieht der Rüssel zu kurz aus, könnte aber auch an der Perspektive liegen. Auf jeden Fall mag ich hier nicht weiter als cf. gehen. Hat jemand noch eine Zweitmeinung?
