On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: Carcinops pumilio, zwei verschiedene Käfer. Von der Art hatte ich schon einmal einen gefunden, der deutlich größer war, als die Literatur das vorsieht. Diesmal ist einer der beiden unterhalb der angegebenen Mindestgröße. So schlecht sollten meine Messungen nicht sein, da muss der FHL wohl nachbessern... An Getreideabfällen, ca. 2,5mm (Bild A und B) und ca. 1,8mm (Bild C), 31.05.2018

Request: Wahrscheinlich Trichius gallicus (Trichius zonatus). Erstes Vordertarsenglied ist klein, also ein Weibchen. Die weiteren Merkmale, die der Bestimmungsschlüssel erfordert, sind aber am Hinterleib und naja, ihr seht ja selbst. Am Nordrhein kommt T. sexualis offenbar nicht vor. Totfund, ca. 12mm, 27.05.2018
