On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: Könnte Calodera nigrita sein...? Am Ufer eines Waldweihers. Der Käfer hatte irgendwas erbeutet. Für mich sah es so aus, als zerrte der Käfer die ganze Zeit an der sich wehrenden Beute, konnte sie jedoch nicht herausziehen. Vielleicht interpretiere ich das aber auch falsch. Ca. 4,1mm (RL ca. 1,9mm) 10.05.2018

Die Gattung erkennt man u. a. an den gestreckten Tarsen und abgeschnürten Kopf, innerhalb der Gattung durch die matte Punktierung und den ausgeschweiften Hinterwinkeln vom Halsschild. Request: Meiner Meinung nach Stenus boops. Zunächst dachte ich hier, einen weiteren S. incrassatus fotografiert zu haben, aber der Kopf ist im Vergleich zu den Flügeldecken hier eindeutig breiter (ich komme auf ein Verhältnis von etwa 0,85 bis 0,86). Am Ufer eines Waldweihers, ca. 3,8mm (RL ca. 1,7mm), 10.05.2018

Comment: Hallo Ingo, das Tier halte ich für Acmaeodera cylindrica. Zum Glück sieht man einiges von der Pflanze, nach Wicke (Vicia) sieht das nicht aus, eher nach Convolvulus (althaeoides?) (Windengewächse), da findet man die Art auch meist. LG, Christoph
