On this page you can find photos submitted by users. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case at least a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: Liophloeus tessulatus. Saß auf einem Radweg, nach dem Fotografieren habe ich ihn ins Gebüsch verfrachtet. Ca. 9mm, 26.05.2018 Das war es dann wohl mit Anfragen für dieses Jahr. Aber ich habe noch ein paar für 2019... Ich wünsche allen ein schönes Käferjahr 2019!

Request: Könnte Calodera nigrita sein...? Am Ufer eines Waldweihers. Der Käfer hatte irgendwas erbeutet. Für mich sah es so aus, als zerrte der Käfer die ganze Zeit an der sich wehrenden Beute, konnte sie jedoch nicht herausziehen. Vielleicht interpretiere ich das aber auch falsch. Ca. 4,1mm (RL ca. 1,9mm) 10.05.2018

Die Gattung erkennt man u. a. an den gestreckten Tarsen und abgeschnürten Kopf, innerhalb der Gattung durch die matte Punktierung und den ausgeschweiften Hinterwinkeln vom Halsschild.
