On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: Ruderschwimmer Noterus sp. ca. 4 mm am 09.04.2014 mehrere in einen fast ausgetrockneten Tümpel gefunden. Vielen Dank
Species, family:
Noterus sp.
Noteridae
Sorry.

Request: I belive that the genus of this insect is Cantharis but the species, it's possible to know? Thanks
(Near Nisa, Portugal - 16.04.2014)
Species, family:
Cantharis sp.
Cantharidae
Comment: Hi MiguelBk, no chance. Even in Germany two or three species would be possible and can only separated for sure by dissection. So far I'm sorry, but only Cantharis spec. Best regards, Klaas

Request: Hallo Christoph,
mal wieder ein kleiner Freund aus Kroatien. Mai 2014 auf Vir, auf Carduus nutans.
Ist das Agapanthia (A.) villosoviridescens De Geer, 1775 ? Danke und LG Moni
Species, family:
Agapanthia sp.
Cerambycidae

Comment: Hi Mirax, in south France this can still only be Psilothrix viridicoeruleus. Going to Spain or Italy it gets more complicated, because of some more species looking more or less the same as yours. Regards, Klaas

Request: anostirus purpureus/gracilicollis (f)? 10-11 mm. Gefunden!
