On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: Am 10.04.2019 im Denstorfer Holz an einem morschen Laubholzstamm gefunden, 10mm. Da das 3. Fühlerglied länger ist als das 2. plädiere ich für Ampedus pomorum? Die Tarsen scheinen rötlich aufgehellt, ist das vielleicht ein weiteres Bestimmungsmerkmal?. Vielen Dank

PS: Käferlein aus UK sind schon in Ordnung, da gibt es nämlich mehr oder weniger die gleichen Arten wie in D oder eher weniger davon, so dass man nicht so viele Unbekannte einkalkulieren muss ;).
