On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Comment: Hallo Heidekäfer, herzlich willkommen auf kerbtier.de! Eine schickes Tier, auf jeden Fall. Es ist entweder Trox scaber oder Trox sabulosus. Leider sind sich die beiden Arten recht ähnlich und man muss die Randbeborstung und auch die Punktierung der Flügeldecken beurteilen können. Dazu eignet sich aber eher eine Aufnahme senkrecht von oben, so dass wir hier nur bis zur Gattung kommen, somit Trox sp. Viele Grüße, Corinna
