On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: 19.04.2019 - (KI: Drusilla canaliculata, 25%, Rang 1) Das Tier habe ich in unter einem Kieselstein in einer ausgetrockneten aber noch feuchten Pfütze auf einem Schotterweg aufgeschreckt. Es signalisierte Verteidigungsbereitschaft, was ich angesichts seiner geschätzten 4 mm Winzigkeit sehr tapfer fand! Aargau, aufgefülltes Kiesgrubengebiet Eiken auf ca. 330 m üNN. Request: 3 Imagines und 4 Larven von Rhagium bifasciatum beim Umwenden von weißfaulem Fichtenholz. Beim Umdrehen zerbrach das morsche Holz und die adulten Käfer verließen sofort ihre Überwinterungskammern. Das Ausfliegen stand bei dem warmen Wetter wohl unmittelbar bevor. Auf der Hand hat das Männchen sofort eines der beiden Weibchen bestiegen und vollzog die Paarung die nach Absetzen am Waldboden fortgesetzt wurde und ca. 10 Minuten andauerte. 17.04.2019 Sonnig, Nachmittags, 20°C, Laubmischwald, Billerbeck, Alstätte

Request: Funddatum: 18.04.2019; Fundort: Stuttgart Kaltental, Garten eines Wohnhauses, 360 m üNN, in als Insektentränke aufgestellten Untersetzer (schwamm trotz mehrerer als Ausstiegshilfe platzierter Steine im Wasser, hat sich aber nach „Rettung“ wieder erholt); Körperlänge: ca. 3 mm; Art: Habe das Käferlein, weil so klein, leider nicht richtig scharf fotografieren können. Es könnte sich um eine Sitona-Art handeln.
