On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: Hallo, liebes Käferteam, ein dreifacher Erfolg: 1. die Fußballmannschaft, in der meine Enkel mitspielen, hat 6:1 gewonnen, 2. am Rand des Fußballplatzes waren Käfer zu entdecken, 3. KI hatte keine Probleme mit der Bestimmung: (KI: Platyrhinus resinosus, 53%, Rang 1), Größe ca. 13 mm, gefunden am Rand des Spielfeldess des FV Sportfreunde Forchheim 1911 e.V., 11.05.2019. Nachdem ich in der vergangenen Woche ausschliesslich C. rustica angetroffen habe, vermute ich hier nun die Schwesternart mit oben und unten fixiertem schwarzen Fleck auf dem HS. Das Tier war flugfreudig, ist aber bei dem stürmischen Wetter wieder abgestürzt :-( Aargau, Feldwegrand Eiken auf ca. 330 m üNN. Vielen lieben Dank für Eure stets freundlichen Antworten! LG Chris
