On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: Hallo, liebes Käferteam, KI meint, das sollte ein (KI: Cantharis cryptica, 5%, Rang 1) sein, aber das glaube ich eher nicht, denn er war ca. 16 mm groß; etwas besseres habe ich aber auch nicht gefunden, fotografiert am Rand eines Weinbergs oberhalb des Staudengartens der Gräfin von Zeppelin in Laufen, 16.05.2019. Request: 16.05.2019 - (KI: Rhagonycha lignosa, 5%, Rang 1) Ich habe die Art zwar bisher erst einmal angetroffen, aber ich wäre auch hier mit Klein-Kerbie einig! Er kann das!! Ich habe es wieder mit Ausschnittvariationen probiert, weil da mal die Frage auftauchte, wieso die richtige Art oft auf Platz 2 erscheint. Die KI braucht irgendwie einen gewissen Abstand vom Bildrand oder vom Objekt oder vom Zentrum, keine Ahnung ... das müssten die KI-Programmierexperten eben herausfinden! Aargau, flugfreudig in der Krautschicht am Waldwegrand, Kaisten auf ca. 330 m üNN. Gute Nacht Klein-Kerbie, im Schlaf verarbeitet man das Gelernte am besten ;-) LG Chris
