On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: 15.05.19, klein (saß auf Wiesenknopf), etwa 5 mm. Ein ähnliches, ebenfalls grünes Tier wurde mir hier als Polydrusus cervinus bestimmt. Aber bei wiki steht für diese Art: Viele dunkle Flecken auf den Flügeldecken.

Comment: Hallo Eifellise, das ist wahrscheinlich Phyllobius roboretanus. "Ähnlich" und "grün" stimmt schon, da kommt man nicht so leicht draus raus. Aber die Gattung Polydrusus scheidet hier aus, weil die Fühlergruben bei Deinem Tierchen oben auf dem Rüssel sitzen, das bedeutet: Phyllobius. Bei Polydrusus verlaufen die Fühlergruben an der Seite des Rüssels entlang nach hinten unten. Ist hier nicht ganz so gut zu erkennen, welche Form es ist, aber bei Seitenaufnahmen ist es in der Regel sehr deutlich zu erkennen. Zur Art (bzw. der Auswahl zwischen roboretanuns und virideaeris) kommt man hier mit etwas Erfahrung, indem man die etwas dickliche Gestalt betrachtet, zusammen mit den dicht und gleichmässig gesetzten runden Schüppchen in hellem Grün, die dicken Fühler etc.. Ganz zur Art geht es bei den beiden, wenn man ganz bestimmte Details erkennen kann, und da seh ich leider in diesem Fall nicht genug. Viele Grüße, Corinna
