Request: Melasis buprestoides vermutlich, auf meinen gerade aufgesägten Birnholzbohlen bei der Paarung. Das Weibchen hält dabei ein Bohrloch für das Gelege mit seinem Kopf besetzt. Ein zweites Weibchen versucht trotzdem an das Loch zu kommen, muss aber erfolglos wieder abziehen. 7-8mm, 19.05.2019

Request: Fotografiert am 19.5.2019, in einem verwilderten Garten in Leudelingen. Ich kenne zwar nicht viel von Käfern, aber mit dem langen Rüssel, müsste es ein Rüsselkäfer sein. Nur welcher? Als ich ihn sah, ca 5 mm lang, wusste ich zuerst nicht, was ich da vor mir hatte. Erst auf dem Kameradisplay habe ich erstens erkannt was es war und zweitens, dass es zwei waren. Manche Käfer sind so klein, dass es mit meiner Kamera grenzwertig wird.
