On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

diesen Käfer (Trichodes apiarius?), ca. 11 mm groß, sah ich am 21.05.2019.

Comment: Hallo Marcus, das ist der andere :). Bei diesem hier, Trichodes alvearius, reicht der hinterste schwarze Fleck nicht bis zum Hinterrand der Flügeldecken, da ist ein Streifen Rot dazwischen. Bei T. apiarius dagegen sitzt der Fleck stramm am Hinterrand. Auch hat T. apiarius keine schwarze Flügeldeckennaht. Vergleiche die beiden mal hier. Danke für die Meldung. Viele Grüße, Corinna
