On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Die Schnute sieht mir schon sehr danach aus, obwohl ich zuerst an einen Barynotus dachte, der nach Corinas wertvollen Hinweisen aber wohl hinten deutlich breiter sein müsste. Ohne Euch komme ich in diesem Fall einfach nicht weiter :-( Aargau, Klinikareal Barmelweid ausserhalb der MTBs auf ca. 610 m üNN. Dankeschön für Eure Mühe! LG Chris

Request: Hallo zusammen, 31.05.2019 größe ca.28-30mm. Mit diesem Prachtkäfer fing letztes Jahr im April alles an. Da ich so einen Käfer noch nie gesehen habe, recherschierte ich im Internet und fand euere Seite. Jetzt nach gut einem Jahr, und über 1000 Anfragen fand ich ihn wieder. Chalcophora mariana!
