On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Comment: Hallo Jaro, ganz vielleicht ist das ein Ammocleonus hieroglyphicus, der auch "Desert Weevil" genannt wird und in Marokko vorkommen dürfte. Comment: Hallo Gerd, hier vermute ich Phyllobius calcaratus, aber so ganz sicher bin ich mir nicht, weil man die Krümmung des Fühlerschafts schlecht beurteilen kann. Entweder er ist so gerade - spräche eher für P. pomaceus - oder scheint nur aus dieser Perspektive so. Das 2. Fühlerglied ist allerdings sehr lang, daher Tendenz zu calcaratus. ok, das bringt die Verbreitungskarte jetzt nicht weiter, aber dieser Kerl ist einfach zu schön, um ihn nicht einzureichen... Vom 4.6.2019. Dieses Jahr sind es bei uns nicht ganz so viele, aber immer noch viele Hirschkäfer.
