On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: 10.06.2019; Wiener Kahlenberg; diese dunkle Anthaxia sp. gibt es z.Zt. auf dieser Wiese sehr häufig. Ich tippe auf A. quadripunctata, werde aber gleich noch ein weiteres Exemplar anfragen, damit man vielleicht besser beurteilen kann, was es nun tatsächlich ist.

Comment: Hallo Mücke, das ist Aphidecta obliterata, allerdings eine ungewöhnlich dunkle Variante. Man kann gerade noch die Halsschild- und Kopfzeichnung erkennen, und so ein etwas ähnliches Exemplar haben wir hier auf der Themenseite mit den Farbvarianten der Coccinellidae. Danke für die Meldung.
