On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: 08.06.2019 - (KI: Chrysolina hyperici, 10%, Rang 1)??? Ich setze da mal viele Fragezeichen dahinter, man kann zwar die Punktierung erkennen, aber das Köpfchen ist so eingezogen, dass auch der HS fast nicht zu beurteilen ist. Das ist auch kein Wunder, denn ich habe das Tier zuerst für tot gehalten und darum mitgenommen, um es daheim bei besseren Lichtverhältnissen zu fotografieren :-( Bei einer kurzen Rast habe ich dann bemerkt, dass der kleine Kerl in meiner Spanschachtel sehr lebendig wurde. Also ... den ganzen Weg zurück zum Johanniskraut, wo ich den Käfer zusammen mit mehreren vermeintlichen C. varians Individuen angetroffen hatte. O. k.! Das war jetzt sogar für mich eine sehr lange Geschichte. Aber Ihr solltet schliesslich wissen, warum das Tier den Kopf so eingezogen hat ... das war wohl alles ein bisschen viel für den Winzling! Geschätzt war er nur ca. 6 mm klein. Aargau, Waldwegrand Kaisten auf ca. 330 m üNN. Dankeschön, dass Ihr so vielen Tieren einen Namen gebt! LG Chris

Comment: Hallo Chris, Chrysolina hyperici ist es nicht, dafür sind die reihigen Punkte zu fein. Ich denke, es muss Chrysolina brunsvicensis sein, die viel seltener als hyperici ist, aber es gibt da noch ein paar ähnliche Arten. C. geminata sollte bläulich gefärbt sein (die Fühler sieht man leider nicht, was aber anhand deiner Geschichte verständlich wird), daran könnte man die beiden Arten leichter unterscheiden. Die anderen Verwechslungskandidaten sollten bei dir eher nicht vorkommen. Von mir geht es im Moment aber leider nur mit cf., hoffentlich vermag es noch jemand wegzunehmen.
