On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: Hallo Käferteam,
heute, 16. Juni 2019, mal wieder ein 'neuer' Käfer, den ich wieder nicht in der Draufsicht habe. Ich bitte um Nachsicht. An einer altersgerechten Lösung arbeite ich bereits. Die Körperlänge beträgt 7 mm. Bei der Recherche bin ich auf Bolitophagus reticulatus gestoßen, der auch vom Habitat her passen würde.

Request: Hallo, Lixus punctiventris? Bei Martinsried, 15.06.2019. Ein Käfer vermutlich der selben Art wie in #141206. Die Pflanze, auf der er sitzt, ist leider noch nicht aufgeblüht, ist aber sicher Pippau, möglicherweise Löwenzahn-Pippau. Auf dieser Seite [link removed] wird diese Art als Futterpflanze von Lixus punctiventris aufgeführt. L. punctiventris wiederum ist der einzige Lixus, der an Pippau lebt. Wäre doch schön, wenn das cf. gestrichen werden könnte...Viele Grüße, Wolfgang
