August 2012 (warmer Abend) quer über einen asphaltierten Wirtschaftsweg zwischen stark verdistelten Grünflächen westlich von Köln. Das Tier krabbelte recht schnell und war ca. 15mm lang. Am 8.8.12 wurde ich am Rande eines Teiches auf dieses eher fotoscheue Paar aufmerksam. Ich würde Asiorestia transversa vorschlagen, auch wenn das Halsschild (zumindest auf meinen schlechten Fotos) kaum Punktierung aufweist. Dankeschön schon im Voraus! Species, family: Asiorestia sp. Aber nachdem ich mir die Punktreihen angesehen habe, denke ich es ist eher substriatus. Du hattest mit Deiner Vermutung natürlich Recht, bezüglich N. substriatus. Obwohl alle Details auf dem Foto ersichtlich sind, kann die Bestimmung dieser Gattung schwierig werden. Der 3. und 4. Zwischenraum der Fld. ist bei Notiophilus substriatus breiter als bei N. biguttatus, zudem ist N. substriatus etwas schlanker und die Flügeldecken sind außen kräftig chagriniert. If the pubescence of the scutellum is entirely split by a glabrous median stripe, it's M. sutor (which I think it is), otherwise M. galloprovincialis. Die Fühlerglieder scheinen mir nicht zu carinata zu passen und bei obscura bin ich auch nicht sicher. Weiter als Pterostichus komme ich nicht, wenn überhaupt, liege ich da richtig? Viele Grüsse, Corinna Species, family: Pterostichus melanarius Carabidae Comment: Hallo Rüsselkäferin: ja, das ist ein Pterostichus und zwar ein Männlein von Pterostichus melanarius. Kennzeichnend sind die Halsschildform mit dem breiten Seitenrand und einer deutlichen Wulst zwischen den doppelten Basaleindrücken und dem Seitenrand (gut zu erkennen!). Die vorderen Porenpunkte liegen im dritten Intervall und sind knapp vor der Flügeldecken-Mitte (auf Bild A+B prima zu erkennen).
