On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Comment: Hallo Karl, das Tier halte ich auch für einen Parophonus maculicornis. Den schaut sich unser Experte nach seiner Rückkehr nochmal an. LG, Christoph Hallo Karl, hier sehe ich eher Gattung Ophonus. Das erste Hintertarsenglied ist nicht deutlich verlängert, der Halsschild nach hinten zumindest leicht ausgeschweift, der hat den Ophonus-typischen Borstenwald vorne auf dem Halsschild, Vorder- und Mitteltarsen passen auch nicht, also aus meiner Sicht Ophonus. Request: 30.07.2019, ca. 5mm, Tomicus piniperda welcher sich als Totfund im Muttergang des Fraßbildes fand. Der Körper war leer, nur die Hülle noch vorhanden. Für mein Empfinden eindeutig. Am Flügeldeckenabsturz fehlt die zweite Körnchenreihe (eine Scheinfurche entsteht dadurch) und das Halsschild hat eine Verengung zum Kopf hin.
Zahlreiche Schnee- und Windbruchkiefern wurden aufgearbeitet und abgelagert.

Request: Im Terrarium in Ipoh, Bundesstaat Perak. Es gab mehrere Exemplare, die alle ziemlich unbeweglich auf Bambusstöcken saßen. Leider waren die Glasscheiben sehr dreckig. 2019-07-25, etwa 60 mm. Chalcosoma caucasus. Chalcosoma caucasus.

Comment: Hallo riesenschwirl, hier ist Isochnus populicola am wahrscheinlichsten. Aber es gibt da noch mindestens eine ähnliche Art, die auch auf Weiden lebt und ein wenig kleiner ist. Selbst mit einer supergenauen Messung wäre ich hier aber nicht so ganz sicher, außer, es wäre ein extrem kleines oder großes Exemplar. Kann Dich also leider nicht trösten, ja, der ist echt schwierig :(. Viele Grüße, Corinna
