On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: 3.7.19, Dieser Hirschkäfer kann in Südtirol nur Lucanus cervus sein, auch wenn sein "Geweih" nicht sonderlich stattlich ist. Dieser Totfund war leider auch der einzige Nachweis. Nachdem Tage vorher ein stattliches Männchen über uns drübergeflogen kam, hatte ich es bei der Suche eigentlich auf lebende Exemplare abgesehen.
