On this page you can find photos submitted by users. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case at least a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: Dieser Dickmaulrüssler (?) kam mir nach dem Kauf aus einer gelöcherten Verpackung von Weintrauben aus Griechenland entgegen. Diese Aufnahme konnte ich noch machen ehe er mir im Garten entwischte. Ob er nun eingeschickt wurde oder von anderen Gemüsesorten beim Kaufmann umgestiegen ist kann wohl keiner wissen.
Ich würde mich freuen von ihnen Hilfe bei der Bestimmung zu bekommen, um dieses dann in meiner fotocommunity vorzustellen.
Größe ca. 8 bis 10 mm ohne Fühler

Comment: Hallo coloniensis, die Gattung Agathidium ist richtig. Zur Art geht es hier nicht, die Unterscheidung innerhalb dieser Gattung ist meist sehr schwierig. Borsten kann ich an den Bildern nicht erkennen. Die bei uns heimischen Arten haben höchstens sehr kleine und unscheinbare Haare auf den Flügeldecken, die auf Fotos einzufangen schon eine große Herausforderung ist. Viele Grüße, Moritz
