On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Comment: Hallo Kryp, eine Gyrophaena sollte es schon sein, aber zu einer Artdiagnose lasse ich mich da nicht hinreißen. G. boleti ist eine sehr häufige Art, es ist also nicht unwahrscheinlich, dass sie es ist. Mehr kann ich aber nicht sagen. Viele Grüße, Moritz

Comment: Hallo Kryp, das sollte Lesteva longoelytrata sein. Auch wenn die Merkmale nicht ganz gut zu erkennen sind. Detailaufnahmen, auf denen man die Punktierung des Halsschilds und die einzelnen Hintertarsenglieder gut erkennt, helfen bei der Bestimmung dieser Art sehr. Das letzte Tarsenglied sieht aber ziemlich lang aus und Punktierung und Habitus deuten auch eher auf L. longoelytrata als auf L. hanseni. Wird also hoffentlich stimmen. L. longoelytrata ist auch die häufigste Art der Gattung bei uns. Danke für die Meldung. Viele Grüße, Moritz
