On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: Huhu! Diesen Flugwurm habe ich in den Dünen bei Domburg gefunden, auf der zum Meer hingewandten Seite. Länge etwa 9mm, Datum 26.09.2018. Der geht vermutlich nicht zur Art, aber ich würde gern wissen, ob ich mit der Gattung Xantholinus richtig liege. Vielen lieben Dank!

Request: Der Halsschildseitenrand weist keine deutlichen Zähnchen auf, aber das sollte ein Cryptophagus sein (nicht Cryptophilus oder was auch immer). Weiß jemand mehr zu? Auf Totholz, ca. 2,5mm. 07.06.2019

Comment: Hallo André, ich denke, das ist Otiorhynchus crataegi. Wohler wäre mir, wenn ich den vorderen Schenkelzahn oder eine exakte Draufsicht sehen könnte. Wegen des Schenkelzahns bin ich nicht sicher, zu welcher Unterfamilie er gehört - falls Tournieria, bin ich mir mit crataegi sicher. Ansonsten... Ich lass ihn mal für Michael stehen, der erkennt das vermutlich auch so. Viele Grüße, Corinna. PS: O. globus scheidet aus, wegen der langen Geißelglieder, besonders der ersten zwei.

kann dies als Minen und Larve von Rhamphus pulicarius bestätigt werden? Minen an der Oberseite von Blättern einer schmalblättrigen Weide vermutlich Salix alba, Larve 2mm lang, 24.11.2019. Auf diese Bestimmung komme ich anhand des Blattminenschlüssels unter http://www.ukflymines.co.uk/Keys/SALIX.php, hier Punkt 3s.
