Comment: Hallo rp62, hier geht es für mich leider nur bis zur Gattung Chrysomela. Die häufigste so gefärbte Art der Gattung ist C. populi. Das einfachste Merkmal zur Erkennung dieser Art sind die schwarz gefärbten Spitzen der Flügeldecken. Dieses Merkmal ist aus dieser Perspektive nicht sichtbar. Viele Grüße, Daniel

Aber leider kann ich Dir nicht sagen, welcher von denen es ist, und ich mach auch lieber ein cf. davor, weil ich mich mit möglichen Verwechslungsarten in Südamerika nicht auskenne. Comment: Hallo Kaugummi, großartiges Tierchen, aber ich habe noch nicht einmal einen blassen Schimmer, zu welcher Familie er gehört. Ein Marienkäfer ist es meiner Meinung nach nicht, die Fühlermorphologie passt nicht. Viele Grüße, Daniel Mit vereinten Kräften haben wir den zuerst in der Familie Tenebrionidae verortet. Und dort gehört er wohl in die Gattung Nilio. Zur Art bekomme ich ihn allerdings nicht bestimmt. LG, Christoph

Comment: Hallo Tilmann, das ist vermutlich Curculio elephas. Die Perspektive ist ein kleines bisschen zu schräg, so dass ich die Flügeldeckenproportionen nicht exakt beurteilen kann.
