On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: Euglenes pygmaeus, ein Weibchen. Der Käfer war ziemlich klein, aber das Schildchen ist hinten eingebuchtet, also ist es sicher E. pygmaeus (der trotz des Namens die größte Art der Gattung bei uns ist). Auf Totholz, ca. 2,2mm. 03.07.2019

Request: Liebes Kerbtierteam, dieses Tier hielt ich beim Fotografieren für Chaetocnema hortensis, erst später sah ich das dunkle erste Fühlerglied und die verdunkelten Schienen, so dass ich denke, es müsse Chaetocnema aridula sein, ca. 2 mm, gefunden an Siloballen auf feuchter Wiese, 26.12.2019, bei Dietramszell, 700 üNN.
