On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

erst einmal vielen Dank für die vielen tollen Bestimmungen, die ihr mir hier schon geliefert habt, obwohl die Käferchen von soooo weit weg kommen ;)
Ich hoffe, dass ich euch hier nicht überstrapaziere! Sollte es zu viel werden mit den neotropischen Käfern dann sagt bitte Bescheid! Ich habe schon einen guten Teil meiner Bilder durch, aber ein bisschen liegt da schon noch vor mir und damit auch sicher noch der ein oder andere Käfer...
Hier denke ich ist vielleicht mal wieder eine Bestimmung möglich. Könnte es Omophoita cyanipennis sein?
Gefunden am 14.12.2018 in der Tamandua Biological Station auf der Osa Peninsula (Costa Rica).

noch ein auffälliger Käfer aus Panama, bei dem vielleicht ein bisschen was geht!? Ich habe leider bei der Bildersuche nach Dungkäfern in Mittelamerika nichts gefunden.
Gefunden am 30.11.2018 auf der Insel Boca Brava an der Pazifikküste Panamas.

wir haben das Land gewechselt :) Zu diesem Rüssler aus Costa Rica habe ich zumindest mal wieder eine Idee: könnte es ein Weibchen von Rhinostomus barbirostris sein? Das Männchen habe ich dort auch gefunden, kommt später noch als Foto ;)
Gefunden am 07.12.2018 in der Biological Station Tamandua auf der Osa Peninsula (Costa Rica).
