Comment: Hallo Ajott, hier geht es leider nur bis zur Gattung Poecilus. Es ist entweder P. cupreus oder P. versicolor, an diesem Bild mit der Unschärfe der Halsschildbasis kann man die beiden Arten leider nicht trennen. Das Unterscheidungsmerkmale der Punktur des Kopfes ist auf Fotos in der überwiegenden Mehrzahl der Fälle nicht auszumachen da die Punktur vom Glanz überstrahlt wird. Dazu müsste man das Tier schon unter dem Stereomikroskop haben. Viele Grüße, Fabian

Request: Liebes Team,
am Wochenende (08.03.2020) fand ich nachts diesen ca. 2,5 - 3 mm langen Käfer. Leider glänzt der so doll dass man kaum viel erkennt. Ich halte ihn für eine Variation von Litargus connexus, mich irritieren nur die orangen Flecken vorne in der Mitte der Flügeldecke, da ich sie eher verbunden mit den Seitenflecken bisher gesehen habe.
