Die etwa 3 cm lange Larve dreht sich, auf ebene Fläche gelegt, nach kurzer Stillhaltephase auf den Rücken, um sich dann randwärts wegzubewegen. Scheint Rosenkäferlarve zu sein. Der schöne Käfer sass (allein) unter einem Stein auf einem zur Zeit nicht beweideten Gallowayrinder-Areal. Geschätzt war er 11 eher 12 mm gross und er hat leider eine kleine Beule im HS :-( Ich bin dafür aber nicht verantwortlich ... das Leben in der Wildnis ist eben voller Gefahren! Das Tier war trotzdem sehr flink unterwegs. Aargau, Eiken auf ca. 330 m üNN. Dankeschön für Eure Sonntagsschule!
