On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Comment: Hallo Slimguy, das ist Longitarsus dorsalis. War früher (so bis vor etwa 12
Jahren) sehr selten und hat sich seither extrem ausgebreitet und tritt teilweise in extremer Abundanz auf. Die rasante Ausbreitung seiner bevorzugten Wirtspflanze - Schmalblättriges Greiskraut - dürfte dazu ebenso beigetragen haben wie die allgemeine Erwärmung. Der frisst sonst noch Jakobskreuzkraut und damit hat er es da auch lauschig und einsam, denn wer das frisst muss einer der härtesten sein (oder wahnsinnig). Ich hab gelesen, dass die Art auch an anderen Pflanzen frisst, aber darauf hab ich sie noch nicht gefunden. Danke für die Meldung. Viele Grüße, Holger

Request: Auf der umgebrochenen Weide fand ich auch diesen Kleinen, den ich bei Epuraea sp. verorten würde (17.3.20, 2.6 mm). Dann komme ich aber nicht weiter. Es ist wohl weder melanocephalus noch eine der Arten mit Makeln (unicolor etc.) noch aestiva, und terminalis und ocularis auch nicht. Was meint ihr? Besten Dank und schöne Grüße
