On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: 16.04.2020 - (KI: Dermestes laniarius, 13%, Rang 1) Nach ausgiebigen Vergleichen mit den bereits eingestellten Anfragen zu der Art (in Ventralansicht) wäre ich auch hier mit der KI einig ... ganz ohne Zuschneidediskussion :-) Das Tier lief über einen befahrenen und verstaubten Feldweg. Wir haben uns gemeinsam an einen sichereren Ort am Wegrand verschoben, um die Fotos zu machen. Aargau, Eiken auf ca. 330 m üNN. Vielen lieben Dank für Eure blitzartigen Bestimmungsantworten! LG Chris

Request: 16.4.2020; Wiener Kahlenberg auf Löwenzahnblüte; Da sich in der Nähe auch ein Anthaxia nitidula Weibchen mit rotem Halsschild und rotem Kopf befunden hat, dachte ich zunächst, dass es sich bei allen grünen Exemplaren um die zugehörigen Männchen handelt - bis sie anfingen sich zu begatten und ich nachgelesen hab, dass nicht alle Weibchen die rote Färbung haben. Ansonsten hätte ich nur noch an Anthaxia millefolii denken können, die aber doch etwas anders aussehen. Beste Grüße, Konrad

Comment: Moin Lozifer, immer schauen, was so auffällig ist bei Amara. In diesem Fall sind es die gelben Beine, denn nicht viele Amaren haben komplett gelbe Beine. Bei den meisten sind wenigstens die Schenkel schwarz. Dann stammt der hier aus der Untergattung Amara, also Amara s. str. und hier gibt es nur zwei: Amara lucida und Amara familiaris. Bei familiaris stehen die Vorderecken des Halsschildes weit raus, bei lucida schließen sie in etwa auf Höhe der Mitte des Halsschildvorderrandes ab (zumindest wäre das auf Foto A so). Ergo Amara familiaris. Viele Grüße, Klaas ... ich merke an, Amara anthobia gäbe es auch noch, die hat aber nen Skutellarporenpunkt. LG
