On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: Gestern, 18.04.2020, auf einem Stapel Spanplatten unmittelbar neben Gartenbeet. Länge: ca. 1 cm. Mehrere Exemplare kletterten heute nachmittag auf Sauerampferblätter direkt neben dem Stapel.Trotzdem wohl Chrysolina coerulans, oder vielleicht doch Gastrophysa viridula? Ich bin gespannt und bedanke mich für Eure Expertenmeinung.

Request: Hier nochmal Megabruchidius dorsalis ("Asiatischer Gleditschien-Samenkäfer"), 15.04.2020, 4,5 mm. Gleditschienkerne in offenem Glas den ganzen Winter in meiner Küche, gelegentlich krabbelte ein Käfer hervor, leckte gerne an angebotenem Honigtropfen. Heute endlich einen beim "Schlüpfen" erwischt. Er schien sein Loch zu klein geknabbert zu haben, steckte fest, praktisch für's Foto. Schließlich half ich mit abwechselndem seitlichem Anstubsen nach - und los ging das Rennen.
