On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: 07.08.2014, Kanarische Insel La Palma, Puntagorda, auf Mandarinenbaum gefunden. Larve bewegt sich lebhaft, daher im Haus fotografiert. - Larve von Rodolia cardinalis?, urspr. aus Australien, eingeführt überall im Zitrusanbau als Gegenspieler der Austral. Wollschildlaus Icerya purchasi.

Comment: Hallo Karin, es gibt zwei ähnliche Nebria-Arten mit dem breiten Halsschild, N. salina mit angedunkeltem 1. Kiefertasterglied, eine Art offener, sandiger Lebensräume, und N. brevicollis mit ganz hellen Kiefertastern, eine Waldart. Hier sieht's nach Foto nach zweiterem aus (Kiefertaster). LG, Christoph

Comment: Moin schwarzer Mupfel, das sind die sterblichen Überreste von Tenebrio molitor, auch als Mehlkäfer bekannt. Viele Grüße, klaas Der ist erstmal tückisch, da nichts Heimisches! Das Tier ist Zophobas atratus (Fabricius, 1775), die werden als Mehlwürmer im Terraristikhandel verkauft und entfliehen gelegentlich, wenn sich die Futtertiere entwickeln. Fliegt, wie unsere heimischen Vertreter auch ans Licht und wird, wenn er mal im Freiland auftaucht, daher oft in Hausnähe gefunden. Viele Grüße, Thomas

Comment: Hallo Karl, das ist Stenus bimaculatus. Der Hinterleib an den Seiten vollständig gerandet, die Tarsen sehr lang, das 4. Tarsenglied nicht gelappt, die Tergite mit Mittelfältchen. Dazu 7 mm lang, da bleibt nichts anderes übrig. LG, Christoph
