On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: Hallo Käferfreunde, 06.05.2020 ist zwar schon verdammt früh, aber trotzdem mal Cerambyx cerdo-Suche im Bamberger Hain. Siehe da, unter den unzähligen Austrittslöchern ist tatsächlich ein frisches von diesem Jahr. Von Eichenbock selbst aber keine Spur. Bei der Gelegenheit ein ausgedehnter Spaziergang durch den Hain und am Ende nochmal kurz zur besagten Eiche geguckt. Sitzt da nicht jemand ganz anderes direkt neben diesem besagten Baum? Dort stehen locker 100.000 Bäume, aber der Hirschi (separate Meldung folgt) wollte offenbar unbedingt den Bock besuchen. Immerhin ein kleiner Trost. Beste Grüße

Comment: Hallo _Stefan_, naja, ich bin mir mit Enochrus nicht ganz sicher. Entweder diese Gattung oder Helochares. Die Unterscheidung beider Gattungen ist meist einfach, wenn man die Kiefertaster sieht. Diese kann man hier zwar erahnen (dank Unterseitenfoto) aber nicht richtig beurteilen. Sorry, einstweilen bleibt es bei cf. Helochares sp. Viele Grüße, Daniel
