On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: Hallo Käferfreunde, Oiceoptoma thoracica am 07.05.2020 an totem Fisch auf Waldweg mitten im Laubwald. Logo, der Wald ist ja auch das natürliche Habitat von Fischen... Die Silphe wird sich über etwas Abwechslung gefreut haben und ich vermute mal hinter dem Scherz stecken die Fischreiher, welche auch von oben mit Eiern (Foto B) nach unschuldigen Passanten werfen und dabei eine Geräuschkulisse verantworten wie eine Horde Affen. Beste Grüße und Vorsicht im Wald!
