On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: Hier bin ich in dem Fall ohne Schlüssel auf coloeonet.de schon lange am Rätseln. Für mich wirken R. erichsoni und vielleicht noch R. mixtus am passendsden. Die Merkmale, die zimorodek in seiner Anfrage #85342 genannt hat scheinen auf mein Tier nicht wirklich zuzutreffen (2. Mitteltarsenglied hier nur gerade so 2x so lang wie breit, 3. Fühlerglied hier nicht mal 2x so lang wie breit) Da es dort der Vergleich mit einem ungewöhnlich gefärbten R. orbiculatus war kann ich so einen ja vielleicht auch nicht ausschließen. Aber vielleicht dann doch eher ein Rugilus mixtus? Aber ich habe ja keine Ahnung. Jedenfalls am 09.05.2020 an einer toten Buche im Mischwald der Stuttgarter Waldau gefunden und wie zu sehen etwa 4,5 mm lang. Vielen Dank und viele Grüße, Aron

Comment: Hallo Coleomaniac, ich komme hier uaf Rugilus mixtus. Die breite Halsschildmittellinie, die großen Augen, helle Fühler und die aus meiner Sicht auch komplett hellen Hinterbeine führen zu mixtus oder erichsonii. Das ausmessen der Hintertarsen zeigt: Glied 2 ca. 1,8 x so lang wie breit, Glied 1 ca. 2,5 x so lang wie breit. Damit wäre es mixtus. Comment: Moin Frank mit dem großen G., man muss zwar zweimal hinschauen, aber der hat kurz vorm Ende der Flügeldecken, kurz vorm sogenannten Apex, zwei kleine Aufhellungen. Diese sind typisch für die, ich nenne sie mal so, biguttatum-Gruppe. Diverse Arten, mit vergleichbarer Färbung, aber eben verschiedensten Unterschieden. In diesem Fall ist es die Namen gebende Art Bembidion biguttatum. Viele Grüße, Klaas Hallo Frank G., (i) zeigen Bilder B und C ein anderes Tier (so wie ich das sehe B. lampros), (ii) ist die Unterschiedung zwischen B. biguttatum und B. lunulatum nicht so trivial. Ich zumindest sehe hier keinen 7ten Punktstreifen (was aber optisch auch nicht wirklich erkennbar wäre), daher eher mit Tendenz zu B. lunulatum. LG
