On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: An den Trümmern dieser alten Eiche kam es heute zu einem Käfer-Meeting. Am stärksten vertreten war Plagionotus arcuatus: Einige Dutzend Käfer liefen wie wild herum, Paarungsversuche endeten meist in wüsten Keilereien, hier eine seltene Ausnahme. Forstenrieder Park, 18.05.2020

Request: Ich konnte es wieder nicht lassen... Onthophagus ovatus oder joannae? In Bild C sieht man den Vorsprung im Halsschild, und in Bild B sieht es so aus, als ob der Reflex des Blitzes genau in der Verlängerung der FD-Naht (schwarze Linie) etwas nach hinten zurückweichen würde. Könnte das von der Einbuchtung kommen? Wenn, dann wäre diese einfach (-> ovatus). Ich hör den Christoph schon seufzen :D) Am 24.4.20 in Schafskot, 5.3 mm. Herzlichen Dank!
