On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: Auf der neuerlichen Suche nach einem Xyleborus (nächste Anfrage) fand ich diesen Ips und fotografierte ihn nur pro forma, weil ich dachte: schon wieder typographus. Doch dann entpuppte er sich als spannend, denn der ist es nicht, die Vorsprünge am Absturz sind aber eigentlich auch nicht prominent genug für Ips sexdentatus, und die Größe von 4.4 mm passt auch nicht. 29.4.20. Schönen Dank fürs Aufklären ;-)
