On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Comment: Hallo _Stefan_, hier geht es auch für mich leider nur bis zur Gattung Sitona. Ok, also bei Sitona braucht es immer eine dorsale Aufnahme, die Du hier hast. Da kann man schon oft z.B. den auffallend parallelseitigen S. lineatus erkennen, aber für alle anderen Arten empfielt sich eine richtig knackig scharfe Aufnahme, auf der man idealerweise die Behaarung/Beborstung oder das Fehlen selbiger erkennen kann. Das Dorsalfoto ist auch sehr wichtig für die Augenwölbung! Eine Aufnahme von der Seite empfielt sich auch immer, denn so kann man bei S. suturalis den typischen Seitenstreifen erkennen. Eine scharfe Seitenansicht kann ebenfalls die Beborstung deutlich zeigen. Ein weiteres Bestimmungsmerkmal sind die Vorderhüften, also auch von unten fotografieren (wenn man das Tierchen auf den Rücken drehen möchte). Die Halsschildpunktierung ist für manche Arten hilfreich, die ist aber oft unter Schuppen versteckt. Für die beiden schwer trennbaren Arten S. lepidus/puncticollis braucht man ein superscharfes Foto von der Stirnfurche, und eins vom Flügeldeckenabsturz. Von Vorteil ist ein Foto, dass zeigt, ob die Stirn bzw. der Rüsselrücken vertieft/eingekerbt ist, das ist aber sauschwer ;). Zu guter Letzt: Die Fühler sind Banane, leider! Die Färbung der Beine auch ziemlich, obwohl die ein bisschen weiterhelfen kann. Fazit: Im Zweifel als Basis möglichst scharfe Fotos von oben, seitlich und unten :). Hoffe, das hilft Dir weiter! Anthaxia fulgurans? Fühler auch gegen Ende zu schwarz und Flügeldeckenende grob punktiert, also zumindest nicht podolica.
