Request: 15.06.2019, dieser Käfer krabbelte an einer jungen Felsenbirne, ließ sich fallen und flüchtete. Zuerst dachte ich an einen Borkenkäfer, aber beim weg krabbeln kam ein seltsamer Kopf und lange rote Fühler unter dem Halsschild zum Vorschein. Was haltet ihr von Xylopertha retusa? NSG Gans und Rheingrafenstein bei Bad Kreuznach, vielen Dank für die Bestimmungen, LG wenix :-)

Request: 04.06.2020 Um 6 mm. Ein sonderbar gefärbter Cryptocephalus, oder etwas ganz anderes? Unter den Cr. kann ich nichts passendes erkennen.
Zwei Exemplare an benachbarten Grashalmen in Wiese am Damm in Rheinauen; einer fiel beim Fotografieren nach Anstoßen ab; (A) ist vom ersten, (B) und (C) vom zweiten Exemplar.
Ich hätte auch noch ein Foto von der Unterseite (Kopf, Hals, Abdomen einheitlich wie Farbe von Hals/Kopfschild).

Request: Ich probier's nochmal mit einem Saprinus, irgendwann muss es doch klappen :) In Bild A sieht man die unterschiedliche Breite der Nahtstreifen, in Bild B die sehr grobe Punktierung der Mittelbrust. Auch wenn Saprinus eine schwierige Gattung ist kann es doch dann eigentlich nur Saprinus semistriatus sein? Gefunden witzigerweise auf einer Wiese, unter einem Stein und dort an einem einzelnen Maiskorn. 7.5.20, 5 mm. Besten Dank und viele Grüße

Comment: Hallo Kalli, den bestätige ich Dir als Saprinus semistriatus. Hab lang rumüberlegt, ob es mit dem recht lang ausgebildeten Nahtstreifen der seltene S. subnitescens sein könnte, zu dessen Mittelbrust nix im Schlüssel steht. Aber auf Vergleichsbildern ist bei dem die Punktierung doch feiner. Hier darf aber gern noch mal jemand zur Sicherheit drüberschauen. Viele Grüße, Corinna Bestätigt. Die Art kriegt man zu hunderten mit einem gammeligen Fischkopf (in ein eingegrabenes Marmeladenglas tun, ein 1€ großes Loch in den Deckel und bis zum Rand eingraben). Lecker. Viele Grüße, Michael
