On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: Hallo Käferfreunde, 13.06.2020, Totfund. Der Vollständigkeit halber: Neben den Cerambyx cerdo-Teilen lagen natürlich auch noch obligatorisch Lucanus cervus-Überreste rum und der mutmaßliche Täter hat es noch nichtmal nötig seine Spuren am Tatort zu verwischen (Foto B). Da es ja derzeit offenbar ganz große Mode ist überall bemalte Steine zu hinterlassen, haben wir auch mal unseren Beitrag geleistet (Foto C). Der ist jetzt direkt bei der Bruteiche vom Heldbock, wo sich ja auch die Hirschis tummeln - und höchstwahrscheinlich wird der Stein auch deutlich eher als einer der riesen Käfer gesehen. ;-) Liebe Grüße

Request: 23.04.2020 so etwa 8 mm (Weibchen blau etwas größer). Dieses Pärchen fand ich Nachts neben besagter Eiche, direkt neben einem Hundehaufen, den hatte ich angeleuchtet, damit ich nicht reintrete und da sah ich sie dann. Ich nehme daher an, das sind Aphodius angulatus
