On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: Hallo Käferfreunde, 19.06.2020, Bamberger Hain: Frau Lucanus cervus schnellen Schrittes auf dem Weg zum Flussufer. Wahrscheinlich wollte sie nach der schmutzigen Eierlegerei erstmal Baden gehen. Wer beim Suchfoto C etwas genauer guckt, findet sicher auch noch die Flügeldecke einer anderen Art.
