On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: Kleiner Leuchtkäfer Lamprohiza splendidula, Lampyridae, 7,5 mm etwa, 20.06.2020, was ich nicht wusste, die Leuchten permanent, nur halt schwächer im Sitzen daher unsichtbar, selbst voll angestrahlt mit Taschenlampe sieht man noch den "Leuchtteil"
(Eigentlich auf Hirschkäfer die ab 22:00 Uhr recht häufig unherschwirren, schade, kann sie nicht eigeben, Fotos so spät und fliegend unmöglich...
