Comment: Hallo Pierre, beide Gattungen kommen in Betracht. Auch wenn man den gattungstypischen Klauenzahn nicht gut sieht halte ich ihn eher für einen Dicronychus. Man sieht am Hinterrand des Halsschildes einige Ein-und Ausbuchtungen (Scutellarlappen). Das spricht gegen D. equisetoides, sondern stark für D. cinereus. Aber die Fotos geben nicht soviel her, dass ich mich festlegen möchte. Viele Grüße, Michael

Request: Huhu! Dieses genau 2mm lange Käferchen habe ich heute in einem schon ziemlich alten Pilz gefunden, an Totholz, ich denke dass es eine Art Porling war. Ich rate Cis nitidus, nach allem, was ich so zusammengelesen habe. Reichen die Bilder für eine Bestimmung aus? Gefunden am 28.01.2015 im Wald bei Gleuel, 102m üNN. Vielen Dank und lieben Gruß!

LG, Christoph Hallo Rüsselkäferin, man kann am Bild aufgrund der Halsschildvorderecken, der Punktierung, fehlenden langen Behaarung, gestreckter Gestalt, den Fühlern und der Größenangabe sehr gut eingrenzen. Der gehört wohl zu Cis nitidus, die anderen Verwechslungsarten kann man aber eider nicht richtig ausschließen, das geht nur am Tier selbst :( Viele Grüße

There are many species in Portugal and a determination would be possible only by examination of the specimen itself under a binocular microscope.
